PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE
School Management Committee is an important provision of Section 21 of the Right to Free and Compulsory Education Act 2009 (RTE), which mandates the formation of School Management Committees (SMCs) in all elementary government, government-aided schools, and special category schools in the country.
Adarsha Vidyalaya, Laokhowa, has its SMDC consisting of the local MLA as the advisor, the Deputy Commissioner of the district as its chairperson, the CO as the convenor, and the principal of the school as the member secretary.

Mothers’ Groups
Mothers play a vital role in the growth and development of children and in all spheres of learning. The Mothers’ Club in a school helps the school authority look after the overall maintenance of the school.
The Mothers Club of Adarsha Vidyalaya, Laokhowa, is quite active in implementing the strategies of the school.
PTA
For the proper implementation of the teaching-learning process and facilitating parental participation in the school, the Parents’ Teachers Association plays a vital role.
The school has an active PTA consisting of parents from various spheres of life and also from different corners of the locality.
Meetings are held from time to time in order to keep track of the students’ performances and also to implement necessary steps for ensuring the improvement of the students.
